First, make sure you vacuum often. Fleas tend to live both in carpet and in floorboards, so if you have either of these in your home it is best to suck them out on a daily basis to exterminate them. Make sure you also vacuum your couches and sofas, as these are likely homes as well.
Another place they like to live is in your bedding and especially your pet’s bedding. These should both be laundered weekly until the problem subsides. Then, it may be more reasonable to wash them every couple of weeks.
Lastly, be sure to medicate your pets. Your cuddly friend can also be a walking flea host spreading these nasty bugs all over your home if you aren’t on the watch. Make sure they, their collars, bedding and fluffy toys are all flea free to keep your home clean.
