Here are a few cheap products you will need:
- Continuous Control Acne Cleanser by Clean & Clear. (It comes in a 5 oz. purple tube; $6-7 in grocery stores.)
- Clean & Clear salicylic acid moisturizer ($7-8 in grocery stores)
- A good facial exfoliant. (I personally use St. Ives, but you can use any facial exfoliant cream, pad, or even cloth that you would like.)
- Oil free facial moisturizer (Dove and Neutrogena have some good $6-10 option, but feel free to choose whatever is best for you.)
By looking at the above list, you may be thinking that this is all too obvious. Well, yes and no.
These products indeed are effective as homemade acne treatments. However, I have found that acne rarely disappears completely unless a certain process is used.
