Congratulations! Now that you know my self-discovered and created home treatment for acne program, let's look at what exactly makes this process so unique and effective!
In the first step, exfoliating your face is very important as it unclogs your pores and removes dead cells. Without this step, buildup will cause extreme inflammation of the skin. It would also be impossible for either of the two acne products to penetrate into your pores!
You will notice over time that my "twice per day method" is extremely effective in acne home remedies because it eliminates the ability for acne to form and thrive.
Because pimples don't show up until two weeks after they have started deep in your skin, you should expect acne to stop surfacing and be completely gone after 2-3 weeks of using this method.
In the next step, warm water readies your skin to receive the acne products that will treat your acne. Salicylic acid is a chemical that opens your pores. This allows the warm rinse water to wash out all debris.
Then, benzoyl peroxide is easily able to enter the opened pores and kill the bacteria that is growing. Without opening the pores with warm water and a salicylic acid cream, the benzoyl peroxide cream may never be able to reach deep enough into the skin to kill acne bacteria!
Lastly, the oil free moisturizer rehydrates your skin so it doesn't become dry and irritated from this twice daily process. The entire process, overall, makes acne unable to continue producing or to thrive in your pores at all. Now isn't that exciting?! Homemade acne treatment has never been easier.
